one more bit of procrastination before I get to London stuff...

it's 'music I love' time!

I've thought about doing this before & I want to start this 'blog feature' with a piece of music just released by one of my favourite indie artists.

Daniel Iorio is a fellow Canadian - from Quebec - and a most talented man. he's not just talented musically, but also has that special something that makes him very attractive as 'star material' in general - and I'm not just talking looks though he's gorgeous too, in my opinion (see picture below). AND his voice is to die for. my sis-in-law, filly, said she figures he'd win on that tv 'idol' show; well he loved her for that, but says he's too old for it now ;).

this first track I'm linking to, then, is one that Daniel Iorio recently wrote and chose to collaborate on with musician Sebastian Teufel of Yellow Jumps Twice. Sebastian is another very talented indie artist, as you'll discover for yourself in listening to this song. please to enjoy, and go leave them your comments if you have something to say. Daniel, by the way, has very kindly given me permission to link to any of his music - I'm sure I'll put his stuff up more than just this once!

general info: find the music features at the top of the page; they'll be easily accessible no matter what page or entry you're looking at, so keep at least one eye open for music changes over time. I'll do my best to actually get permission from the artists before I link to their files, but in any case I'll only link to files that are already freely offered for listening on sites or that I definitely *have* got permission to put up. it'll likely be only independent artists that I feature, because I know a number of musicians who really deserve to be heard & I'd like to help in some small way. I hope that those of you who read my blog regularly - or irregularly, or even just once ;) - will take advantage of the opportunity to listen to some great sounds! if you have anything to say about what you hear please go and leave a comment and/or word of encouragement in the artists' reviews section or guest book or whatever might be available at their sites.
