lozwordz - mostly appropriate

want to know something about me? you can check out the links at the left side of the page. I'm involved with all of them to one degree or another, though I confess that I'm only involved with the band CrashTV peripherally because my good mate Peter is also in that band with Chris Collins and Steve (The Voice) Yeates, and because I just lurrrrrrve their music. I've applied to become their groupie several times, but I'm afraid it involves something like a hat, a pair of mangy old tights and a fresh fruit pie (and I have no idea what to do about the pie).

for now, I'll just give you some basic info about ink1, which you'll hear more about over time because it's a 'pet' project of mine with musician Peter (noted above) Dahl-Collins of London. I'm main vocalist for ink1, but we have many vocalists from other parts of the world that have lent their considerable talents to ink1 tracks also. if you visit our music page you can hear about 10 tracks, including a couple featuring my words/voice.

ink1:  film-like soundscapes with spoken word. from chill-out to electro-rage. from silly to serious.

you'll notice the name Michael Parker in the list of band members. Michael is a brilliant musician who not only lends what we call the important guitars to ink1 tracks, but is also another wonderful mate of mine who I've collaborated with in some of his own projects (including a new one ~ klankstof ~ waiting on vocals from me). I mention Michael specifically because 1) I want to; and 2) his site noise seduction is linked to at the side too. if you go there you can also hear a couple of tracks with my voice.

Poppy Gonzalez is another valued member of ink1, a brilliant musician in her own right. she's working on a ~ top secret ~ new project right now, but you can also find her last band Dreamfield online and hear a few tracks still. great stuff.

besides being a brilliant musician, Peter is my Flash God. his design work ~ he of Design Resurrection ~ is so fab that it inspired me to try it for myself, and is what causes me to aspire to achieve a similar level of quality in my own design work someday. and actually, discussion of Peter's design work is how we became friends, originally ~ back in 1999.
